They are put under the care of occupational, physical and emotional therapists. A doctor of physical medicine, rehabilitation nurse and psychologists may also be members of spinal cord injury association.
3. Utilize physical therapy a lot since it is essential in ensuring that you regain your normal strength. Physical therapy is also essential in determining whether you can walk. Mobility will be very essential in determining how fast you can go back to work. 4. Introduce occupational therapy as you recover further. This will allow you to go back to your senses especially if you have amnesia. Train the communication skills that you will be using. Train more on the devices that you may be required to start using like the wheelchair.
